Finally finished stories 2 after literally, three years (I left off at kuan village ages ago and just finished the rest of the game in like the last two and a half days Cry emoji) I really really enjoyed it, here some small doodles from right after finishing main story.

Really want to make a proper stories 2 piece one day once I'm a little less busy with owed art ^_^)

Day 6 – Hobbies

Zet – As Zet for long didn’t really have “free time” and just stood on stand-by until she was called in for the next quest, she never really had the time to develop any active hobbies. But just enjoying the garden/pond on her terrace, maintaining her weapons and enjoying Seliana’s hot springs have become her go to when she was not on hunts.

Mei – Mei is very sociable, so she often spends her time off running around the towns she’s in and chatting with the locals. While being very active, Mei also loves to sleep a lot, being used to sleeping the afternoons away to escape the scorching hot sun. Other things she likes to do are grooming her monsties, find nice patches in nature to just sit in and enjoy, sing and hum, and also make bead accessories, but she really sucks at that. She tries though.

Chidori – Chidori spends a lot of time with Hinoa and Minoto, so she spends her time eating dangos by proxy. Other than that, she likes playing with the kids, so Yomogi and Iori, both for fun and as training for the two. They often play “find the Cahoot” as her own Cahoot is very good at hiding. They can mostly find it bothering Utsushi though, because for some reason it both really likes his hair to nest in but hates his guts as well.

Day 7 – Family

Zet – Zet had been found alone in the wild when she was just a kid, evidently a child that had survived some monster attack and now just tried to stay alive in the wilderness. Being taken in by the Guild and trained all her life left her with little empathy for many people, even if said people took kindly to her (for example the Moga Village people). But after coming to the New World, Zet learned what it meant to care for others and see a place and its people as a home, and as something worth protecting. So, she sees most of the Commission as her new family, with the Handler, the FTL, the Huntsman and Granmeowster as her closest confidants.

Mei – All of Mahana is her family and everyone there is very dear to her heart. Mei will stamp you as family quickly though. Most people she met on her journey are now family in her book, so people like Ena, Navirou, Alwin, Lilia, Cheval, Reverto, Avinia and of course Kyle and Tsukino.

Chidori – While Chidori is initially not from Kamura, she could never call any other place her home. She had been living there for a few years before she had to leave for the Guild to get basic training, and she hadn’t even known how homesick she had been until she broke down crying cos she was so happy to be back home. All of Kamura’s villagers are her close family, but she’s especially close with Hinoa, Minoto and Utsushi. Utsushi ofc cos he’s her master, and Hinoa and Minoto cos they’re like big sisters to her. Before she left for the Guild, so when she was just a young kid, those two would mostly look after her, show her all Kamura had to offer and tell her tales of its history. So Chidori feels very safe in confiding in these two.

Im going to kill the next person i see (ft. Monster hunter stories 2 AU)

Characters are:

Kyle (as a grey-ish Corgi)

Vyffor (the purple-white-ish novabeast)

Cheval (as a stago wolf, its how I currently want to call the species i drew him as/as a spiked wolf)

Ena (as Dragoverian/as the blue-ish dragon thing)

Navirou (the Siamese cat/the felyne)

Tsukino (the grey felyne with purple clothes)

Explain time:

In my AU, Vyffor & Kyle are gays, both has crush on each other, but Kyle was the more shy one while Vyffor admitted it bluntly without any hesitation, so now they’re boyfriends, Cheval looks very not happy with this in the video, and thats NOT because he’s an homophobic, its because in the AU he’s Vyffor’s adoptive daddy & because his momma died & it really affected him it causes him to be very protective over Vyffor, his own child, and he distrusts Kyle, which is why he isn’t happy about both of them’s relationship, so basically about their relationship & how it began, in the porome/prome (i don’t remember aaah) garden arc, Kyle was very distrustful of Losi (Razewing Ratha’s nickname in the AU) so he didn’t stop arguing with Vyffor, Vyffor has never gotten this mad before, he tried to keep himself from raising his voice, but at a certain point he snapped & raised his voice at Kyle & said “Don’t you get it?! He isn’t dangerous! He did nothing and theres no reason to kill him for something he didn’t do! And even if that dumb legend about him being evil is true, I would still not kill him! He’s ALL that i have! He’s like my older brother! I have no parents, no grandparents since my grandfather died, no siblings, no family! Losi is the only one i have as family! I bet you don’t get it what is it like to live in the streets, without proper food, without a bed, without family, without friends, without proper health, Losi is the only one i got! I will NEVER kill my own brother! IM FUCKING HOMELESS & ORPHAN! If someone said your family are cursed and evil, wouldn’t you do something to protect them?!” Which caused Kyle to finally understand his situation, Vyffor wasn’t a dumb guy who was selfish & careless and didn’t care for the rest like Kyle thought, Vyffor is actually a homeless + Orphan, he was lonely, even if it sounds strange to see a monster as your family (for Kyle it sounded strange), he was also very loyal, and his situation is even worse than Kyle’s situation, Kyle’s father is badly injured, but he still has family, Vyffor has absolutely nothing, which caused him to pity Vyffor, he also felt a strange feeling, a feeling of… love? But thats too fucking early, so through their journey together, Kyle started to love Vyffor even more, to the point it got romantic, at a certain point he and Vyffor hanged out together, Kyle asked Vyffor “do you… like me?…” Vyffor said “Actually, i have a crush on you”, which dumbfounded Kyle, Kyle said “WHY DIDN’T YOU SAID SO?! I FUCKING HAD A CRUSH ON YOU THIS WHOLE SEXING TIME! I THOUGHT IT MAY BE WEIRD, AND HERE YOU ARE ADMITTING IT BLUNTLY WITH ME?!” Vyffor replied calmly “you never said so”, Kyle facepalmed, but then they became boyfriends, thats how it began, now their relationship, Kyle is usually cold & short tempered towards everyone else, just like he was with Navirou, Ena & Cheval (Tsukino is there because she’s Kyle’s Palico so she follows him around), but then when its Vyffor, he’s very soft towards him, just the perfect amount required with Vyffor, who’s literally traumatised big time, tbh, the monster hunter stories protagonist are the ones with the most tragic backstories ever, so tragic & brutal (spoilers for mhs1: the protagonist’s father is an extreme, brutal psychopath, he left his wife to die in hopes she dies with Sivan [the protagonist, she survived but her momma died] and he killed Sam’s [Sivan’s cousin] mother who was also his sister, Sam’s father is Red, so thats when the 2 stories connects, and then the psycho father of Sivan tried to kill Sivan, Sam and the entire crew/Cheval, Lilia, Avinia, and all that, but do not talk to me about the first game, i still didn’t finish it), so that’s basically the animation, showing Kyle’s relationship with Vyffor in nutshell
